Summary of this program: Parittran and National Children’s Task Force (NCTF) under the Y-Moves project with technical assistance of Swedish International Development Co-operation Agency (SIDA), the “Girls Take over” program is arranged and implemented by Parittran on International Day of the Girl. The program was held to create the equal opportunity, equal rights and to build the confidence of girls live. Consultation Meeting at Rangpur Division in the title of “Anti-Discrimination Bill-2022; ‘Expectations of Dalit Community’

In collaboration with the development organization HEKS EPER and in organizing the Human Rights Development Organization Parittran and in the implementation of the Bangladesh Dalit Parishad (BDP). The meeting was presided over by Advocate Monilal Das the President of the Rangpur Divisional Committee of Bangladesh Dalit Parishad. Rangpur City Corporation Mayor Md. Mostafizar Rahman was present as the chief guest in the event.

The preparatory meeting held on 10 May 2023 Wednesday Koyra and 11 May 2023 Thursday in Shyamgar Upazila with Disaster Management Committee to deal with Cyclone ‘Mocha’. According to the discussion of the preparatory meeting, there is a possibility of Cyclone Mocha hitting the coastal areas between May 13 and 15. The Upazila Disaster Management Committee has prepared to avoid the possible massive damage of cyclone Mocha. According to the decision of UDMC, as soon as the calamity is forecast, all the NGOs and its volunteers will help to bring the coastal residents to the shelters like, Cyclone Center, School College and other shelters.

At the same time, all staffs and volunteers of Parittran have been instructed to be ready for rescue. All staff and volunteer of Parittran will play their role in the time of cyclone ‘Mocha’ which has been instructed by UDMC to the Parittran.  The Management Committee of Parittran has decided that we will perform our duty there in the coastal area as well as our own area with the heart and soul there is no doubt.

Yesterday on 8 March 2023, after rally a discussion meeting was held at Koyra, Keshapur and Shyamnagar Upazila on the occasion of the International Women’s Day in honoring women in the society by Parittran Y-moves project.

Milan Das the Executive Director of Parittran and there were present several well-known women individualities from varied sectors and different places, including Government Official, politicians, Journalist, policymakers, Civil Society Organization, cultural personalities, NCTF members, dignitaries, UP members, NGO Representative and Munda Community Leaders, Dlait Community people as well as the Aila affected community people and joined in this auspicious event.

National Consultation Meeting on “Anti-Discrimination Bill-2022; ‘Expectations of Dalit Community’

On 21 December 2022 at 11am, in the title of “Anti Discrimination Bill-2022; ‘Expectations of Dalit  Community’ a National Consultation Meeting was held at the Shaheed Dr. Shamsul Alam Khan meeting hall room of the Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) building in Dhaka the capital city of Bangladesh. The program has organized by non-governmental human rights development organization Parittran and implemented by Bangladesh Dalit Parishad (BDP) Central Committee, honorable member of National Parliament Dhaka-8 Mr. Rashed Khan Menon was present there as the Chief Guest of this this propitious program.
