An intergenerational dialogue focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights, child protection, gender-based violence, child marriage prevention, and building a drug-free society was held at the upazila level in Koyra, Khulna. Organized by Parittran’s Y-Moves project, the event took place at Parittran’s Koyra office on Wednesday, November 6, at 11 a.m.
The dialogue was presided over by A. B. M. A. Malek, President of the Upazila Shishu Suraksha Coalition and former professor at Kapotaksh College, with Upazila Executive Officer Ruli Biswas as the chief guest. Special guests included Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Mamunar Rashid, and Upazila Women Affairs Officer Md. Moniruzzaman.
Parittran Program Officer Md. Rabiul Islam presented the main topics, under the coordination of Project Officer Md. Alauddin. Several notable community members contributed to the discussion, including Nikah Registrar Maulana Yunus Ali, Advocate Swadesh Kumar Mistry, UP Member Harendranath Sarkar, Teacher SM Nurul Amin Nahin, Deepak Kumar Mistry, Journalist Farhad Hossain, and Khulna District Adivasi Parishad General Secretary Sahbar Munda. Also participating were Milan Munda, Basanti Munda, and Upazila NCTF President Shiuli Munda, among others.
