An intergenerational dialogue focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights, child protection, gender-based violence, child marriage prevention, and building a drug-free society was held at the upazila level in Koyra, Khulna. Organized by Parittran’s Y-Moves project, the event took place at Parittran’s Koyra office on Wednesday, November 6, at 11 a.m.
On Navember o4, As part of the Girls Takeover 2024 initiative, 15-year-old Tabassum Mashia Tama, a tenth-grade science student at Banshree Shiksha Niketan in Munshiganj Union, Shyamnagar Upazila, Satkhira, assumed symbolic duties as Upazila Family Planning Officer for an hour. The event took place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Shyamnagar Upazila Family Planning Office, organized by Parittran and the National Children’s Task Force (NCTF) Shyamnagar Upazila branch with support from Plan International Bangladesh.
On October 27, Ratna Munda, a second-year student from Koyra Government Women’s College, stepped into the role of Secondary Education Officer in Koyra Upazila, Khulna, for an hour as part of a symbolic “Girls Takeover” initiative. During her time in office, Ratna issued guidance on key issues affecting adolescent girls in coastal communities, including the need for sanitary napkin distribution to address health risks associated with climate change and salinity.
Parittran recently conducted an intensive workshop focused on developing a comprehensive Organizational Development (OD) Plan, aimed at strengthening internal capacities, improving efficiency, and enhancing impact within our community-focused initiatives. Held over a two-day period, the workshop brought together key members of Parittran’s management, project teams, and support staff to collaboratively explore and establish strategic goals, evaluate current practices, and define future objectives.
