- From the Fiscal Year of 2011-2012, The Ministry of Social Welfare has allocated budget for socio –economic and housing infrastructure development of Dalit.
- On May 2012, The Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh issued a demand direction letter for the development of Dalit. Memorandum No. 111, dated 25.09.2012
A) Quota and Admission arranged for poor Dalit students in educational institutions.
B) Bangladesh Government has implemented the policy of old age allowance, disability allowance, VGD, and VGF card for the socio-economic development of Dalit through the Safety Net program.
C) A special measure has been taken to ensure the inclusion of the Dalit community in human resource development programs.
- On 27-6-12, the Relief and Rehabilitation Department of Bangladesh Government issued a circular there is said that, the Dalit community people will involve in case of distribution of VGF under the safety net program which is being directed by the government.
- Under the government’s social security diversion program, micro-credit has been allocated for the Dalit community
- From the academic year of 2012-2013, the quota less than 1.0% seats have sanctioned for Dalit community for higher education in all units of 13 Public Universities, e.g. The Dhaka, Jagannath and Jahangirnagar University etc.
- The Ministry of Social Welfare has surveyed to find out only the number of Dalit in Bangladesh.
- Among the 15 points of demand of Bangladesh Dalit Parishad, the “Anti-Discrimination Law 2014” enactedand has been raised in the National Parliamenton last 05 April 2022 which was submitted by Bangladesh Dalit Parishad through the Ministry of Law in the National Human Rights and Preparation Act.
- Due to advocacy of Parittran the government has taken the initial action and established the adolescent Corner at Union Health and Welfare Center.
- Besides, allocation of medicine has increased more than before in some of our working areas at Union Health Complex and Welfare Center.
- Dalit Youth (girls and boys) are becoming conscious on SRHR due to rigorous advocacy of Parittran.
- Slowly the graph of this community girls and boys are increasing slowly than before in education due to Proper Advocacy of Parittran.
