Mission
To provide comprehensive support and opportunities for the holistic development of 200 Marginalized girls, focusing on education, health, skill-building, and community engagement, with the ultimate aim of bridging social gaps and promoting inclusive growth
Outcomes:
- Increase school attendance, learning and academic performance among marginalized Girls.
- Improve overall health awareness, Promote hygiene practices and access to healthcare services.
- Facilitate awareness campaigns on the rights and contributions of Dalit and Adivasi communities.
- Advocacy efforts to influence policies at local, regional, and national levels to promote girls’ education and address systemic issues that contribute to their marginalization.
Background
The Girls Education Project in Parittran is a transformative initiative designed to address the educational challenges faced by marginalized girls in Satkhira, Khulna, and Jeshore. With the vision of empowering these girls for a brighter future, the project focuses on increasing access to quality education, fostering supportive learning environments, and promoting gender equality.
The mission of the project revolves around breaking down barriers that hinder girls’ education, including socio-economic constraints, cultural norms, and geographic challenges. Through targeted interventions, the project aims to create safe and nurturing learning environments that cater to the specific needs of marginalized girls, enhancing their academic achievement and overall well-being.
